Bio
Peng Huat is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (“ISCA”). He is also an Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax and Goods & Services Tax) with the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (“SCTP”).
He has more than 30 years experience, gained in the United Kingdom and public accounting practices in Singapore. Prior to joining Complete Corporate Services Pte Ltd, he was with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore where he was involved in reviewing of business transactions and tax investigation assignments. He provided direct and indirect taxation advice to public companies and large private corporations on a range of issues, including cross border trade and operations, corporate restructuring exercises.
He has participated in dialogue sessions held by the Ministry of Finance. His special interest is in shipping and is regularly in contact with the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore to discuss shipping tax issues.
